Worming
When you first pick up your Exotic kitten from us you can be assured that strict worming protocol has be followed. Our kittens for sale are wormed regularly using a veterinary approved wormer .Exotic Kitten Breeders wormed their kittens for adoption at 4 weeks, then every 2 weeks until 16 weeks of age. They should then be wormed monthly until they are 6 months of age. After this, they should be wormed every 3-4 months.
Your new shorthair kitten should also be deflead regularly throughout the year. Most spot on flea treatments can be used from 8 weeks of age as long as the kitten weighs over 1kg.
Vaccinations
As with worming and flea treatment, vaccinating your Exotic kitten as a Exotic kitten breeder,it is also very important for preventative healthcare. Your kitten for adoption will come to you with all current age appropriate vaccinations. As a guideline, most Exotic kittens need vaccinations at 9 weeks of age and 12 weeks of age. A Exotic cat then needs yearly booster vaccinations which is also an ideal time to chat with your vet about any concerns or questions you may have.
Neutering of British Short Hair kittens
Neutering our kittens is important, our kittens for sale are sold to pet homes only not Kitten breeders. Neutering helps prevent behavioural problems such as urine spraying and can also prevent healthcare problems such as uterine cancers as a cat gets older.
